NEXGENSTART
Cost-conscious engineering documentation for small residential projects, volume housing, simple builder-led works and tight-budget scopes. Practical engineering design and essential drawings with limited detailing and reduced custom documentation depth.
NEXGENCOLLAB
Standard engineering documentation for residential and small commercial projects requiring clear, reliable construction drawings. May include basic Revit-based LOD 200 modelling or 2D documentation, with standard detailing suitable for typical permit and construction issue requirements.
NEXGENCOLLAB
Advanced Revit-based LOD 300 engineering documentation for custom architectural homes, commercial, industrial and higher-coordination projects. Improved drawing precision, discipline coordination, architectural model referencing and copy/monitor workflows where applicable.
PREMIUMBIM
Premium BIM-integrated engineering delivery for advanced commercial, industrial and digitally managed projects. May include LOD 300–350 coordination where scoped, BEP input, CDE planning, Navisworks/Revizto workflows, clash-aware coordination and ISO 19650-aligned digital handover requirements.
NexGen provides quotation-based service levels so clients can choose the delivery pathway that matches their project scope, budget, coordination risk and documentation expectations. All levels receive professional engineering judgement and appropriate design rigour.
The difference is the level of documentation detail, BIM modelling, coordination time, digital delivery scope and construction-stage support included in the engagement. This gives clients clearer expectations before the project begins.
Final scope, deliverables and certification responsibilities are confirmed in the project proposal before engagement.
Two things define every engagement. The Level (1–4 above) sets the documentation depth and carries a code — NEXGENSTART (Level 1), NEXGENCOLLAB (Levels 2–3) and PREMIUMBIM (Level 4). The delivery mode is how the work runs: a standard single engagement for most projects, staged delivery for larger commercial and government projects (NEXGENSTAGED), or inspection & rectification for existing buildings (NEXGENRETURN). The same codes appear on your fee proposal, so your quote and this page always line up.
NEXGENSTART
Cost-conscious 2D CAD documentation for simpler or budget-sensitive projects. Practical engineering design with essential drawings and a permit-ready package — the streamlined option where a full BIM workflow isn't required.
NEXGENCOLLAB
Standard, reliable engineering documentation for typical projects. Full structural drawings, calculations and basic coordination — everything a builder or council needs to proceed.
NEXGENSTAGED
For larger commercial, industrial and government projects delivered in defined stages — Schematic Design, Design Development, Tender, Certification/IFC and Construction. Each stage is separately scoped, quoted and approved under our Major Projects Agreement, so budget and risk stay controlled stage-by-stage.
PREMIUMBIM
The full digital engineering experience. Complete 3D Revit model, clash detection, coordination with architect/services, and ISO 19650-aligned BIM execution plan. Highest documentation quality and reduced construction risk.
NEXGENRETURN
For existing buildings with issues. Site inspection, defect assessment, engineering report and (if needed) full repair documentation. Six-tier system below — pick the level that matches your situation.
Not sure which package fits? Send your project details via the enquiry form (select "Not sure — please advise" in the package field) and Hamed will personally recommend the right pathway and a clear written quotation. The initial enquiry and discussion are free — you only pay once you accept a written proposal. The package codes above (e.g. NEXGENSTART) are the same codes used on your fee proposal, so your quotation and this page always match.
NexGen designs site stormwater and on-site detention to connect your development to the legal point of discharge — coordinated with structural slab levels, footing systems and council requirements. Below is exactly what a standard civil drainage package includes, the council items we can manage for you, and what is kept separate so your fee stays controlled.
Managed on your behalf — council fees are charged at cost, plus a small management fee.
Kept separate to keep your base fee lower — quoted only if your project or council needs them.
Good to know: Final detention storage and outlet control are confirmed against council / LPOD requirements during design. Civil drainage can be engaged on its own or coordinated with your structural package — most multi-unit and townhouse sites take both together.
NexGen provides staged inspection and reporting pathways for site issues, cracking, movement, structural concerns, drainage-related damage, construction defects and rectification planning. Scope and fees are confirmed by quotation.
| Tier | What it is | When to use it | Time | Fee Range |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Tier 1 Preliminary Inspection |
Initial document and visual review. Quick risk flag. | Early issue check, scope clarification, "is this serious?" question. | 1–2 days | $ Lowest |
| Tier 2 Detailed Assessment & Engineering Report |
Site visit + photographic record + written report. | Cracking, movement, builder dispute, structural concerns needing formal report. | 3–7 days | $$ Standard |
| Tier 3 Premium Assessment with Level Survey |
Tier 2 plus coordinated level/measurement survey. | Settlement, slab movement, high-value projects, evidence-grade reporting. | 7–14 days | $$$ Premium |

Engineering value explained in business terms — what clients actually get from structured, coordinated and digitally-led project delivery.
Documentation is structured to reduce ambiguity, rework and site confusion. Drawing sets are checked for internal consistency before issue.
Structural, civil and digital workflows are coordinated instead of treated as separate outputs. One engineer, one coordination point, fewer gaps.
Clients can select budget, standard, BIM-coordinated or premium digital delivery levels — matched to project needs and budget, not one-size-fits-all.
Drawings and models are developed with practical buildability and site coordination in mind. Details are drawn for the site team, not just the calculation.
NexGen supports builders, architects, developers and consultants through practical communication, WhatsApp accessibility and staged delivery aligned to project milestones.
Every project is guided by a senior engineer with 18+ years of combined international and Australian practice. No graduate-only production handoffs.
